The family tree was compiled by Robin Sweetnam. It commences with the marriage of Matthew Sweetnam to Elizabeth Connell in 1812. Matthew is described as a tall man, a farmer, from Murrahin, Kilcoe Parish, County Cork, in what is now the Republic of Ireland.
